Ford & Harrison Expands Washington, DC Office – Two Top Labor & Employment Attorneys Join Firm

Washington, D.C. – Ford & Harrison LLP, a national labor and employment law firm, announces the addition of two prominent attorneys to the firm's Washington, DC office. Gary L. Lieber joins as partner and Anessa Abrams joins as senior counsel. They formerly practiced with Saul Ewing LLP in Washington, DC.

Lieber and Abrams both practiced labor and employment law at Saul Ewing where they represented clients in a variety of industries including construction, manufacturing, retail and service, hospitality, aerospace and defense, banking, and higher education. They will continue to provide counsel to employers in all areas of labor and employment law at Ford & Harrison.

Lieber has more than 30 years of experience as a labor and employment law attorney. His practice runs the gamut of labor and employment law, ranging from the negotiation of collective bargaining agreements and practice before the National Labor Relations Board to the litigation and trial of employment discrimination complaints. He has also arbitrated well over 100 labor arbitration cases. He has received an AV peer review rating through Martindale-Hubbell which is the highest rating in the profession. He is also a Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Law Lawyers. Lieber received his JD from American University's Washington College of Law in 1974 and an LL.M from Georgetown University Law Center in 1979.
Abrams has over 14 years of labor and employment law experience, ranging from issues involving unfair labor practice allegations and labor antitrust to harassment, discrimination, wage and hour and non-compete matters. She represents employers before federal and state courts and administrative agencies, and has defended employers in both bench and jury trials. Abrams also counsels employers on the myriad of issues arising from the employer-employee relationship. Abrams received her J.D. from George Washington University Law School, with honors, in 1995.
